Training Methodology

The Faculty shall be sharing his experience in application of new concepts.  It includes Exercises, Case Study, Using Smart spreadsheet tools, and a Simulation Game, all of which help participants learn faster and better. It thus influences the way participants THINK, and creates most lasting learning.

The stress is on inter-disciplinary approach for managerial decision-making. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss the materials management practices in their organizations.  They will also have an opportunity to solve the problems faced by them in the materials management field.

At the Industry visit: presentations will be made by the company’s team as how materials management is successfully adapted by them.

Faculty

Mr Sudhir Patwardhan is a B Tech (IIT-Kanpur) and MS (USA) in 1971. He has over 35 years of experience in Industry and is practicing Management Consultant.

Mr Sudhir Patwardhan worked in a large US firm manufacturing gas turbine engines, before returning to Mumbai to join Tata Consulting Engineers. He worked with the TATA’s on Hydro, Thermal and Nuclear Power Project Management. He joined Godrej Soaps Ltd in 1973 where he worked for 23 years, reaching the position of Senior Vice President (Manufacturing) and later Managing Director of Godrej’s French Joint venture: Godrej – KIS.
