Rs 250 crore earmarked for Food Processing with high priority on Food Safety and Quality
Identifying the need for Food Safety and Quality at the MoFPI-CII-QCI Sensitization Program on Food Safety Systems in Hyderabad on 13th February, Mr K.Rajeswara Rao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India said that the Ministry is according a top priority to the sector and has earmarked Rs 250 crore towards this in the 11th Five Year Plan.
